LinkedIn Auto-Connect (Chrome Extension) helps you automate “Connect” clicks on LinkedIn search results pages with conservative limits. This policy explains what data we collect and how it’s used.

Summary

• We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
• All processing happens locally in your browser.
• We do not use analytics, ads, or any tracking.

Data We Handle

The extension operates only on linkedin.com/search/results* pages and uses a few Chrome Extension APIs:

• activeTab: runs on the active LinkedIn search tab when you toggle it on.
• host permissions (https://www.linkedin.com/*): allows the content script to read the page to find “Connect” buttons and click them.
• scripting: injects the packaged content script on matching pages. No remote code is ever fetched or executed.
• storage: stores simple local settings (e.g., on/off, debug flag, per-run counters). Not synced, not transmitted.

What We Do Not Do

• No servers, no telemetry, no third-party SDKs.
• No collection or transfer of LinkedIn data outside your device.
• No ads or profiling.

Retention

Only minimal local settings are kept via chrome.storage.local. You can remove them by uninstalling the extension or clearing site data.

User Controls

• Toggle the extension off in the popup.
• Disable it on chrome://extensions/ or uninstall it at any time.

Children’s Privacy

This extension is intended for general audiences and does not target children.

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
